 Nephro Warriors is a community-led advocacy organization dedicated to moving kidney patients, veterans, and caregivers from isolation to impact. We provide modality education, peer-led mentorship, and navigational resources to help families manage the complexities of end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

We are currently in the Fiscal Sponsorship Pending phase. We are actively working with professional partners to secure our 501(c)(3) status, ensuring full financial transparency and mission-driven accountability.

 Home Hemodialysis allows patients to perform treatment in the comfort of their own homes. We advocate for HHD because it offers increased flexibility, improved clinical outcomes, and empowers the patient to take command of their own care schedule. 

 No. Nephro Warriors provides peer support and navigational guidance. We are not doctors. All medical decisions should be made in consultation with your clinical team at institutions such as Hoag, Memorial Care, UCI, or UCSD. 

 Battle Buddies focuses on post-op stability. We provide caregivers with the training and peer support necessary to ensure patients meet the social and clinical requirements to remain "Active" on the kidney transplant list.  Most transplant centers, including UCI and UCSD, require patients to have a stable, trained support system. Battle Buddies ensures that no caregiver feels overwhelmed by the responsibilities of post-transplant life. 

 Living Donors are our Modern Heroes. If you are interested in giving the gift of life, we recommend starting an evaluation through verified programs at UCI Health or the National Kidney Registry.  For more information visit the Living Donor page.

 In the vast majority of cases, the recipient's insurance covers the medical expenses associated with the donor's evaluation, surgery, and immediate recovery. There is also a lot of current and pending positive Legislation that covers this subject.

 Nephro Corps is a specialized program currently in the Development & Research Phase. Our mission is to build a coalition of veteran talent to assist fellow service members in navigating the complex intersection of VA benefits and private-sector renal care. We are currently designing the tactical roadmap to ensure no veteran falls through the cracks of the healthcare system.
