The Nephro Corps Initiative Status: Active Development & Phase I Pilot

Inspired by the legacy of Isidro Ortiz (Guadalcanal Veteran) and the millions who have served, Nephro Corps is the dedicated veteran advocacy arm of Nephro Warriors. We are currently executing our "Battle Plan" phase—building the infrastructure to ensure no veteran navigates kidney disease alone.
The Strategic Goals (Updated for "Motion"):
- VA-to-Community Navigation: We are mapping pathways to help veterans coordinate care between VA facilities and specialized transplant centers like UCI and UCSD.
- Veteran Peer Mentorship: Developing a "Battle Buddy" network specifically for service members, leveraging the unique discipline and "grit" of the veteran community to improve dialysis outcomes.
- Strategic Alliances: Actively collaborating with organizations like the Enlisted Kidney Foundation to streamline resources and advocacy for the military community.
