Nephro Corps

Nephro Corps Initiative: Veteran renal advocacy honoring the legacy of Isidro Ortiz. Marine in WWII

Mission Briefing

The Nephro Corps Initiative Status: Active Development & Phase I Pilot

Honoring Their Service. Guarding Their Health.
Inspired by the legacy of Isidro Ortiz (Guadalcanal Veteran) and the millions who have served, Nephro Corps is the dedicated veteran advocacy arm of Nephro Warriors. We are currently executing our "Battle Plan" phase—building the infrastructure to ensure no veteran navigates kidney disease alone.

The Strategic Goals (Updated for "Motion"):

  • VA-to-Community Navigation: We are mapping pathways to help veterans coordinate care between VA facilities and specialized transplant centers like UCI and UCSD.
  • Veteran Peer Mentorship: Developing a "Battle Buddy" network specifically for service members, leveraging the unique discipline and "grit" of the veteran community to improve dialysis outcomes.
  • Strategic Alliances: Actively collaborating with organizations like the Enlisted Kidney Foundation to streamline resources and advocacy for the military community.

The Closing (Stronger Call to Action):

Join the Fight. We are currently seeking volunteers, veteran advocates, and strategic partners to help finalize our Phase I rollout. If you are a veteran, a caregiver, or a medical professional, use the form below to enlist in our mission.
Thank you for your service. It is now our honor to serve you.

Why these changes work for a Fiscal Sponsor:

  1. "Active Development" vs. "In the Pipeline": "In the Pipeline" can sound like a parked idea. "Active Development" means you are working on it every day.
  2. Naming Partners: Keeping UCI, UCSD, and the Enlisted Kidney Foundation in there is huge. It shows you have a "local and national" strategy.
  3. Phase I Phrasing: Using terms like "Phase I Pilot" or "Executing our Battle Plan" makes you look like a project manager. Sponsors love projects that have clear stages.
